Tressa Ann Smith

Tressa Ann Smith, 71, born June 23, 1943 in Paris Island, South Carolina to parents Martha Mulkey and Robert McKitrick, passed away Saturday July 19, 2014 in Port Orange, Florida. Tressa was predeceased by her Mother and Father and is survived by her husband of 39 years, Richard P. Smith, daughters Dee Antony (Constantine), Deborah Ashley (Winston), and Donna Nott (George Pappas) and grandchildren Zachary Welch (Mayra), Ashley McKinnis (Shaun), Michael Welch (Cheyanna), Derek Smith (Samira Mirzai), Stephanie Lilly, Sadie Snell, sister Linda McKitrick, and brother Robert McKitrick.

Tressa Ann (known to her friends and family as T.A.) was fiercely loyal and passionately loved her family. She loved us from our first breath, held our hands through the years, guided us along the paths that our lives took, taught us that there is nothing we can't make it through, to hold our faith and follow our hearts. She gave us her all and asked nothing in return. The sun rising will remind us of the warmth of her love. Flowers blooming will remind us of her love for life. We will carry her with us each and every day in our hearts and our thoughts.

A memorial service will be held Friday July 25, 2014 at 6:00 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home 4815 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange, FL 32129.
