Wade O'Neal

Wade O’Neal, of Daytona Beach, Florida, passed away on July 8th, 2025. He lived a long and fruitful life until his death at age 77. Wade was born on November 4, 1947, in Baltimore, Maryland. He was preceded in death by his parents James Rudolph O’Neal, Helen Louise Stanley, and his siblings James Rudolph O’Neal Jr., Carl O’Neal, Helen O’Neal, and Eric O’Neal, and beloved wife Vera Louise O'Neal who passed March 28, 2025.

A devoted husband to his wife, Vera Louise O’Neal, for 55 years, their love blessed him to become a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather to their beloved children. Wade dedicated his life to his family and faith in Jehovah. He found great comfort in the truths found in God’s word the Bible and the promises that the Kingdom of God will bring to all of mankind.

He is survived by his beloved children, Michael O’Neal (wife Jennifer), Wade O’Neal Jr., Shlial Jeannette O’Neal, and Tanya Louise O’Neal-Anderson (husband Shawn); his grandchildren, Victoria Louise Maria O’Neal, Devante Hatcher, Jaden A. O’Neal, and Sascha E. O’Neal; and his great-grandchild, Khelani Louise Maria Stanley.

Wade leaves to cherish his memories: three sisters, Dorothy O’Neal Willis, Patricia O’Neal Barnes, Mary O’Neal and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends

Graveside services with military honors will take place on Thursday, July 24th at 1:00pm at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 26th at 11:30 at the Peninsula Club, 415 S. Peninsula Drive, Daytona Beach, FL 32118.
