Allan Christopher DePaul

Allan DePaul was born on February 27, 1976, in Sylvania, Ohio, the son of Ronald DePaul and Carol DePaul (Gasparovic), and the brother of Scott DePaul. Allan is described as an inquisitive, curious, methodical, and bright child. He is remembered for his humor and ability to connect with loved ones through laughter. Allan graduated from Rancho Bernardo High School in San Diego, California, in 1994. He then attended the University of California, San Diego, where he graduated in 1998 with a degree in Economics.

Allan married Katie DePaul (Mayer) on December 9, 2006, in the city of Las Vegas. Their love for music, fun, and friends united them, and they celebrated their special day with all the excitement and playfulness that Las Vegas had to offer. Allan and Katie enjoyed their honeymoon in Italy, remembered for the delicious food and beautiful countryside. Allan and Katie enjoyed 19 years of marriage, beginning in San Diego, CA, to Charlotte, NC, to Port Saint Lucie, FL. Their life together was full of countless Pearl Jam concerts, ice cream nights, football games, trips to Disney World, camping with friends, quiet movie nights at home with the kids, video games, fantasy football, and walks with the family dog, Gizmo.

Allan worked in the financial industry for over 25 years. For the last 13 years, he had a successful career as a Regional Supervisory Principal with LPL Financial.

Allan adored spending time with his kids. He loved watching football games with Kayla, watching suspenseful movies with Zoey, and playing lively video games with Ryan. He also enjoyed friendly poker games, snowboarding, music, and fantasy football with his friends.

Allan is survived by his beloved wife of 19 years, Katie; his lovely daughters, Kayla and Zoey; and his charming son, Ryan; his loving mother, Carol DePaul; his brother, Scott DePaul, and his wife, Vanessa; his mother-in-law, Kathy Ciallella, and her husband, Jim; his father-in-law, Stephen Mayer, and his wife, Kathy; his sister-in-law, Bridget Mayer, and her husband, Chris; his brother-in-law, Shawn Mayer and wife Theresa; and his nieces and nephews, Ella, Grace, Freddie, Luke, and Spencer.

Preceding Allan in death is his father, Ronald DePaul.

Visitation for Allan will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at All Villages Presbyterian Church in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Family and close friends are invited to attend. The funeral service will follow immediately at 4:30 p.m.

Memorial donations in honor of Allan may be made to the Vitality Foundation, founded by Allan and Katie’s favorite band, Pearl Jam.
