

With heavy hearts but filled with love and gratitude for his brief but beautiful life, we announce the passing of Daquain Beckford, 17years of age, of Port Saint Lucie FL. who left us too soon on March 30, 2025. A gentle soul, Daquain was the embodiment of grace and kindness. His quiet presence was like a calming breeze that brought comfort and warmth to everyone who knew him.
Though shy and humble, Daquain had a brilliance that shone in the simplest of ways. Whether it was his thoughtful smile or the way he quietly helped others without asking for anything in return, he always made an impact. Daquain was the kind of person who made everyone feel seen and valued, and his caring heart was his greatest gift to the world.
A loving son, brother, nephew and friend, Daquain had a deep love for his family and always made them his priority. His gentle nature and strong faith in God gave him a sense of peace that touched all who encountered him. He didn’t need grand gestures to show how much he cared; his sincerity and kindness spoke volumes.
He was exceptional in every way that mattered. Whether it was his dedication to his studies, his willingness to help those in need, or the way he brightened even the dullest days, Daquain was a constant reminder that the greatest gifts are often the simplest.
In a world that often values more, Daquain cherished simplicity. He didn’t crave the spotlight, preferring the quiet joy of small moments with those he loved. His laughter was soft but genuine, and his heart was big, filled with compassion and love for everyone around him.
Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he had on our lives is immeasurable. We take comfort knowing that Daquain is at peace, surrounded by love and light. He will forever live in our hearts, reminding us of the beauty of simplicity, the power of kindness, and the importance of family.
Daquain resided in Port Saint Lucie FL September 2017 until his untimely passing. He attended Rivers Edge Elementary (2017) -(2019) Renaissance Charter at St. Lucie (2019) - (2021) Tradition Preparatory High School (2021) -(2023) St. Lucie West Centennial High School (2023) - (2025)
In August of 2024, Daquain’s dream became a reality when he proudly joined the St. Lucie West Chick-fil-A family, a moment that marked the beginning of an exciting and deeply meaningful journey.

Daquain is survived by his loving parents (father) Courtney Beckford, (mother) Aniel Beckford; sisters Shannika & Amelia Beckford, brothers Courtney Jr. & Cairo Beckford; Grandmother Isola Henry and grandfather Ffloyd Groves. He is also survived by several loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
The Celebration of life service to honor the life of Daquain Anthony Beckford will be held on Saturday April,19 2025 @ 10am at Treasure Coast Church of God 4050 SW Savona Blvd, Port Saint Lucie FL34953.
The family will receive friends at Aycock at Tradition Funeral Home 12571 Tradition Parkway, Port Saint Lucie FL 34987. Friday, April 18th. from 5:00pm — 9:00 pm. Daquain will be interred at Rolling Oaks Cemetry and Cremation Garden 2200 SW Del Rio Boulevard Port Saint Lucie FL 34953.
