

Dolores June Vanasdale passed away peacefully at 90 years old on November 16th, 2023 at her residence in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Born on March 17th, 1933 in Youngstown, Ohio, she lived with her mother, Mildred Roush, and two sisters, Betty and Glenajean.
Dolores graduated from East High School in 1951, where she met her husband Frank Vanasdale whom she married on May 21st, 1952. She had five children, and together they lived in Youngstown for many years. In 1983, Dolores and Frank moved to Port Saint Lucie. She worked at GEM Electric in assembly work for many years before retiring. She lived a difficult yet tremendous life filled with memories from gatherings with family and friends throughout the years, and her love will continue to live on with her family through many photographs from holidays, sports events, and school events. She enjoyed supporting her grandkids by attending their school ceremonies, baseball and softball games, cheerleading competitions, and other personal achievements. She will always be known for her love for crafting, homemade meals, and having a kind and gentle spirit.
Dolores is preceded in death by her husband, Frank; one son, Jon; her mother, Mildred; and her two sisters. Dolores is survived by four children: Dennis (Connie), Timothy (Doreen), Debra (Robert), and Cary. She has 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Calling hours will be held at Aycock Funeral Home in Tradition on Monday, November 20th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 21st followed by interment services at Rolling Oaks Cemetery.
