Earle J Hoyt Jr.

Earle J. Hoyt Jr., 84 passed away January 2, 2018. He was born in Wilmington, Delaware to the late Earle J. Hoyt Sr. and Elizabeth Hoyt nee Finnigan. Earle was a resident of Florida for the past 15 years having previously lived in New York, New Hampshire, California, Missouri, and Tennessee. He was a Transportation Manager for Western Electric for many years. Earle was also V.P. of Distribution for Pure Gold in California. He was a Rotarian for many years. While residing in California, Earle dabbled in the Real Estate Industry. His 1971 Cuda was his world and he cared for that car. He was an avid classic car enthusiast. In his spare time, Earle enjoyed bowling, fishing, and hunting.

Earle was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Murray.

Survivors include his daughters, Catherine Blamy (Hank), of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, Carol Marion (Joel), of St. Louis, Missouri, Mary Jane Andrews (Robert), of St. Louis, and Linda Pace (Mark), of St. Louis; son, Earle J. Hoyt III; 16 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and siblings, Elizabeth Roden, John Hoyt, Mary Ellen Hoyt, Peggy Minnick, Paul Hoyt, and Jane Kearns.

A gathering of friends and family will take place Thursday January 4, 2018 from 4-7 pm at Aycock Funeral Home 1170 SW Bayshore Boulevard Port St. Lucie, Florida 34983. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie on Friday January 5, 2018 at 11 am with burial to follow at South Florida National Cemetery.
