

Judith A. Wolgast, 75, of Port St. Lucie, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2015 at her home. Judy was born in Ft. Branch, Indiana. She had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for the past 17 years, coming from Washington PA, which she resided for many years. Judy lived a very successful, fulfilled life. Growing up in small towns in Western Pennsylvania, she went on to marry and raise her 5 children in Washington PA. She was an amazing mother known for her compassion, loyalty and dedication to her family. She baked her ‘famous’ Syrian bread for family and friends to enjoy! Judy always loved the beach and eventually moved to Florida to spend more time with her mother and sister, for whom she loved dearly. At that time, she met and fell in love with her husband, Bob, which they built a home and life in Port St. Lucie. Also known to some as Nellie, Skoal, TT and Grandma Judy, she loved cooking for her family, going to the beach, collecting various teapots, glassware, dishes and birds. She started the Classy Red Foxes chapter of the Red Hat Society and was an active member of the PSL Botanical Gardens and Rio Lindo Garden Club. Survivors include her husband of 16 years, Robert L. Wolgast, daughter Darcey Matney (Bob), son Joseph P. Monsour Jr (Beth), daughter Kimberly LaValle (Rick), son Carl D. Monsour (Michelle), step son Robert Wolgast II (Susie), step daughter Heather, Sister Lois King, fourteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Adams, mother, Jeanne Adams, daughter Tanya R. (Monsour) Bullard, and prior husband, Joseph P. Monsour Sr. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th from 4 to 8 pm at Aycock FH-Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel, 1170 SW Bayshore Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL.
