Maria was born on September 13, 1955 in Havana, Cuba. She later spent her childhood in Fort Pierce, FL, and was a resident of Frisco, TX since 2005.
Maria was a graduate of John Carroll High School in Fort Pierce, FL and Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. She spent her career in healthcare administration and traveling the US before retiring at 65. She was an active member of her local church, St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Frisco, TX. Her hobbies included attending local art shows, going to the movies, and completing a good crossword puzzle with either a hot cup of coffee or a cold Topo Chico.
Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Mario Alejandro Mejuto and Teresa Carmen Mejuto.
Survivors include one daughter, Marion Alexandra Milloy, one sister, Lilia Mejuto Oliver-Bass, and one brother, Brent Mejuto.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Aycock at Tradition in Port St. Lucie, FL.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL, with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce, FL.
