Patricia was many things: authentic, funny, and fiercely loving. She didn’t pretend to be perfect, and she never expected anyone else to be. She told it like it was, made people laugh whether they were ready or not, and had a special way of turning everyday moments into something memorable.
Patricia is survived by her daughter Kathleen who was her greatest pride in life, her beloved partner of 30 years Tony who was always her partner in crime, and her three grandchildren, Mia, Olivia, and Matthew who she loved like crazy. This is a terribly sad parting, but we take comfort in knowing that she is finally reuniting with the family she has missed for so long: her mother Maria, her father Karl, and her brothers Jimmy, Luke, and Stephen.
Patricia worked for many years as a server, a role that suited her perfectly. She had a way of making fast friends, remembering every story, and sharing her own with flair. She loved to sing, to dance, and most of all, to talk. Her phone was always ringing with calls to and from her many friends and family, especially those in Scotland.
We will honor Patricia’s life just as she lived it, full of love, laughter, and stories worth sharing. A public service will be held on Sunday, May 25, starting at 12:30pm at Aycock at Tradition located at 12571 Tradition Pkwy, Port St. Lucie, FL 34987. Later, a send-off will take place in Scotland where her ashes will be scattered in the land of her mother’s birth, followed by a celebration dinner in September with her dear friends from Floral Park in Queens. Details will be shared in the coming weeks.
Patricia will be deeply missed and joyfully remembered by all who knew her.
