Dick is survived by his loving wife Santina and predeceased by Sandra (Martinelli) and their children Richard, Sherry, Michael, Deni (Kerrie) Zaza, Nicholas (Casey) Zaza. He was the devoted grandfather to; Patrick (Zen), Eric (Devon), Sean and Santino, and great grandfather to Edwin, Eleanor and Stella. He was the loving brother to Linda (Don) Starr, Anthony (Patricia) Marciano, Rosemarie (Curtiss) Poormon, predeceased by Diane (Joseph) Struffolino. He was a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews, and best friend to his cousin, Robert (Helen) Quartararo.
Dick was a role model, mentor, supporter and teacher. He was a master of his skills as a General Contractor (Marciano Builders). He built the most magnificent homes and completed the most detailed oriented renovations. No job was too big or small, he loved a challenge.
Every day was special to Dick; however, Saturday was the most special; it was date night with the love of his life Santina, enjoying a quiet dinner together, or a movie.
Dick loved an adventure, whether it was a spur-of-the-moment day trip, a planned trips to a casino, a coin show, a car show, or the countless cruises they enjoyed. Dick would quietly whisper to Santina, "Do you think we've become regulars?" when the pit bosses and dealers would welcome them by name.
At home Dick enjoyed spending time with his Poker and Bocce buddies, last year's Bocce Tournament winners. Dick and Santina have a special bond with their neighbors. Dick was always there to lend a hand to anyone needing help. Then they would gather together outside to resolve the problems of the world while sipping on a daiquiri.
A gathering of family and friends for Dick will be held Monday, January 13, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Aycock at Tradition, 12571 Tradition Parkway, Port St. Lucie, FL 34987, followed by a memorial service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
