

Richard “Rick” Tomko, 73, on Thursday, May 14, 2015 went to ride his Harley in the sky. Rick was a veteran of the United States Navy and was the owner-operator of Tomko Trucking for over 40 years. He was a member of the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association, the American Legion Post 0566, Michigan, and a lifelong member of AMVETS Post 5050, Michigan. He enjoyed hot rods and was a vintage automobile enthusiast. Rick is survived by his wife, Gloria Conway, of Port St. Lucie; son, Mark Tomko, of Fort Pierce; and siblings, Bernadette Tomko, of Clarkston, MI, Edward Tomko, of Pensacola, FL, and Peter Tomko, and Peter’s wife, Susan, of Lansing, MI. Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at Aycock Funeral Home – Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel, 1170 SW Bayshore BLVD, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983. Graveside services will be held 12:45 p.m. Friday, May 22, at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449.
