Claire is survived by her loving husband, Bob; her daughter, Dawn (Kevin) Kierst; her sons, Brian (Melanie) Sharpe and Michael Sharpe; and five grandchildren, Kayla and Kyle Kierst, Emily and Daniel Sharpe, and Mina Sharpe; her sister, Ginny Hartofil; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and longtime friends. She is predeceased by her mother, Mildred Savio; and her father, Frank Savio.
She was born in New York, on September 6th, 1950, to Mildred and Frank Savio. She graduated from Plainedge High School in 1968, and began her career as a secretary, which she continued for over 40 years. Claire married her husband, Bob on September 22nd, 1989. Claire and Bob moved from Long Island, New York to Lake Worth, Florida in 2001, where they resided until their move to Port Saint Lucie, Florida in early 2021.
In her free time, Claire spent most of it supporting her grandchildren at their various extra-curriculars. She also enjoyed baking and cooking, entertaining at her home, traveling, cruises, shopping, and watching her favorite crime television shows.
A celebration of life for Claire will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Aycock at Tradition, 12571 Tradition Parkway, Port St. Lucie, FL 34987. A reception will occur Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, 12571 Tradition Parkway, Port St. Lucie, FL 34987. A gathering of family and friends will occur Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 12571 Tradition Parkway, Port St. Lucie, FL 34987.
