

Thomas Edmund Blair, 81, of Port Saint Lucie, FL passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014. Born in Burlington, VT to John and Eldora Blair he was a 20 year U.S. Air Force veteran and a 20 year employee of the State of VT supporting the Vermont Air National Guard. In 1951 upon graduation from Cathedral High School in Burlington, VT, he joined the Air Force and served in the Korean Conflict. In 1968, during the Vietnam War he served a year in Korat, Thailand. He is survived by his wife Margaret ‘Patsy’ Blair, Patsy’s sister and brother-in-law Claudette and Vijay Motila and their children (nephews) Kevin and Joseph of Port Saint Lucie, FL, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws Angela, Kathleen, Pauline, Anthony and Peter all of Trinidad, sister Thelma Crosby and husband Daniel of Arizona, sister Phyllis Coolidge of Port Saint Lucie, son Patrick and wife Jean and grandson Zachary of South Carolina and son Michael and wife Lisa of Port Saint Lucie, FL and many more nieces, nephews and loved ones. He was predeceased by his first wife Yoshiko, daughter Jacqueline, sister Veronica Blair and sister-in-law Vicki Bissrem. Tom was a member of Saint Lucie Catholic Church in Port Saint Lucie, FL. Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Aycock FH - Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel, 1170 SW Bayshore Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 am, Monday, November 24, 2014 at St. Lucie Catholic Church, 425 SW Irving Street, Port St. Lucie, FL 34983, Tel # (772) 878-1215. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Humane Society of the United States.
