Willie T. Rollins, born in 1941 in Montezuma, Georgia, to John Henry Rollins and Mary MacDonald, peacefully began his rest awaiting the resurrection on Earth while firmly holding to his hope in Jehovah. Willie lived a life marked by deep faith, unwavering love, and a generous spirit that touched countless hearts.
After graduating high school, Willie joined the United States Army. Following his service, his life took a beautiful turn when he met the love of his life, Donna Rollins. The two were married on December 24, 1964, and enjoyed 53 wonderful years together until Donna’s passing in 2018. Their union was strengthened by their shared faith, beginning in 1974 when Donna, and soon after Willie, began studying the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses. Together, they built a spiritually strong loving home, raised their three children to know and love Jehovah, and be followers of His son Jesus Christ.
Willie is survived by his beloved children: Tony Rollins and wife Jenny Rollins, Jared Rollins and wife Feleshia Rollins
Winnie Lee and husband Brett Lee.
He was a proud grandfather to Japhilia Rollins, Olivia Rollins, Shania Rowe and her husband Denzil Rowe, Jonathon Rollins and his wife Crystal Rollins, Lil’ Jared Rollins with his wife Leisa Rollins, Summer Rollins, Keirra Rollins, and a delighted great-grandfather to many beautiful great-grandchildren.
Willie was an exceptional businessman and entrepreneur, known for his integrity, work ethic, and kindness. Yet his greatest pride came from his spiritual service. During their retirement, he and Donna spent countless joyful hours together in the ministry, sharing their faith with warmth and conviction.
After Donna’s passing, Willie found strength and comfort in continuing full-time service, pouring his heart into helping others draw close to Jehovah. He served faithfully as an elder, a loving father, and a loyal friend to many. He had a special gift for encouraging young men, guiding many to baptism and later watching them grow into capable spiritual shepherds.
In the latter months of his life, Willie found profound joy in prison witnessing. He was actively conducting seven Bible studies and often spoke excitedly about the wonderful experiences he was having. It was clear to all who knew him that Jehovah was using him in meaningful ways in this aspect of his ministry.
On the last day of his life, Willie joyfully attended his meeting at the Kingdom Hall and commented several times—something that brought him deep personal satisfaction. One of his most treasured sayings was, “Always give Jehovah something to bless.” His legacy is filled with wise, principled sayings like this—words that will continue to guide his children, his friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Willie T. Rollins lived a life of purpose, love, and faith. He leaves behind cherished memories, a powerful spiritual example, and a family who looks forward with confidence to the day they will welcome him back in the resurrection to life.
