Casey Ensweiler

Casey was born on May 18, 1987, in Fort Atkinson,Wisconsin son of Jeffrey and Dawn (Berka) Ensweiler.

He married Tanya Lynn Scheidt on June 3, 2009, in Kodiak, Alaska.

After graduating from Fort Atkinson High School in 2005, Casey joined the United States Coast Guard. He loved the outdoors, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

While in high school, he was a great athlete, participating in football, baseball, track and swimming where he swam with his brother, Jason, at state.

He loved his family, friends and especially his nephews, Kai and Rory. His laugh and smile were very contagious.

Casey is survived by his wife, Tanya Ensweiler; parents, Jeffrey and Dawn Ensweiler; brother, Jason (Erin) Ensweiler and their boys, Kai and Rory; grandparents, Sandy (Ron Fay) Spoerl and Daryl (Jacky Witt) Spoerl, and his in-laws, Tom and Jill Scheidt.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, at First Congregational United Church of Christ in Fort Atkinson from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral services with full military honors will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church. There will be no visitation on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a scholarship to be set up in Casey’s name.

Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson is assisting the family.
