Clifford was born in Rumford ME on January 30, 1936 the son of Henry and Arlene Bedard Scott and attended local schools. After graduation he entered and served his country in the US Army and Reserves. He obtained his teaching degree and taught high school English for 20 years before retiring to his 20 year career at a Deputy Sheriff for York County. He married his wife Lois Key on September 5, 1959 and together they raised 2 children.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Lois Scott of Portland; two children Craig Scott of South Portland and Lynn Scott of Porter; 4 grandchildren and a great granddaughter and a brother Marshall Scott of Washington. He was predeceased by his parents.
A burial will take place on May 17th at Ocean View Cemetery in Wells.
