

Everett Leon Cressey, 76 of Westbrook, Maine, went home to The Lord on March 23, 2015, after his courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He was born in Portland, Maine on April 17, 1938 the son of Fred Seymour and Edith Carey Cressey. Everett graduated from Portland High School and received his diploma in 1957. He was married to Theresa Mary Goodine on July 30, 1977. Everett worked for Universal Laundry, HP Hood Ice Cream & Hood Milk & Sure Winner, Pratt Abbott, JJ Nissen Bakery and was in the Army National Guard. He was a member of the Boys & Girls Club, and had a passion for his Family, Religion -First Evangelical Free Church of Maine, Red Sox, Green Bay & New England Patriots Football, Cribbage, Music, Theatre and Concerts. His hobby was singing in Nursing Homes and volunteering at the Root Cellar. Everett also had a passion for scrapbooking. He will be remembered for his everlasting kindness and contagious smile.
He was survived by his 6 children, Edward M. Cressey, of Standish, Karen & Philip Bradford, of Standish, Roger F. Cressey, of Standish, Laurie E. Cressey & Scott Hanson, of Portland, Kathy Spina & John Moran, of San Francisco, CA, Annie Cressey & Kevin Valentine, of Burlington, VT, 4 grandchildren Jessica Bradford, of Sunrise Florida, Stephanie Layton of Camp Lejuene, North Carolina, Lola & Olivia Spina, of San Francisco. CA, and 4 great Grandchildren, Fiona, Madeline, Olivia and Chloe. Close family members are Ilona & James Feeney, Marilyn Bradley and George & Kerry Bertalan.
He is predeceased by 4 brothers and 4 sisters.

Friends and family are invited to attend a time of visitation on Thursday March 26, 2015 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at the Jones, Rich and Hutchins Funeral Home 199 Woodford St. Portland, ME 04103.
