

Grace Macisso DiBiase, 88
Grace Lucille (Macisso) DiBiase, age 88, of Washington Ave passed away September 14, 2011 peacefully at her home in the loving arms of her husband and three sons.
Grace was born on October 23rd 1922 in Portland to the parents of Vincenzo and Gentile Minervino Macisso. Grace was the youngest child of twelve siblings. She graduated from Portland High, class of 1942 and later attended Gray’s business school. Shortly after that she enlisted in the Waves U.S. Navy serving during WWII. Grace worked for many years at Fairchild Semi Conductor retiring in 1986. She was a communicant of St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking for her family at home and trips to Las Vegas and Foxwoods.
Grace is survived by her husband of 59 years, Daniel N DiBiase, their 3 sons, Concetto Jack DiBiase, Pasquale Valentino DiBiase both of Portland, Daniel Thomas and his wife Mona DiBiase, of Scarborough, as well as six grandchildren Erica, Christina, Daniel, Catherine, Gentile and Anthony and three great grandchildren. She also had many nieces and nephews that she loved very much.
There will be no visiting hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday September 20, 2011 at 10AM at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, Federal Street. Interment with military honors will follow in New Calvary Cemetery, So. Portland. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, 72 Federal St, Portland, Me. 04101.
