

A resident of Hennessey Drive, Portland, Maine, former owner of Elm Ice and Oil.
He was the husband of Nancy May Lalumiere.
Mr. Lalumiere was born in Portland, ME, June 11, 1935, a son of Joseph H. and Mabel Irene Colter Lalumiere. He attended Portland Schools and graduated from Deering High School. He was employed as a Police Officer for the Town of Falmouth for over ten years. He then became the President and owner of Elm Ice and Oil in Portland and Falmouth for over thirty years. For several years he coached Little League Baseball and also was an avid race fan at Beech Ridge Speedway and served as Flagman for several years.
He was a member of Casco Lodge #36 of Portland, a member of all Scottish Rite Bodies, the Maine Consistory Valley of Portland 32 degree, Member of Kora Shrine of Lewiston, ME, and served as its Illustrious Potentate in 1996, a member of several Shrine Clubs including Portland and Lake Region, and a former member of Kora Temple Trustees.
Hank was active with the PTA for several years in Portland. He enjoyed woodworking, traveling, and especially camping with his family and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife of over fifty years, Nancy Slocum Lalumiere, in 2016.
He is survived by a son, Glen Lalumiere and his wife Barbara of Portland; two daughters, Mrs. Brenda and her husband Mark Barriault of Portland and Patricia Lalumiere of Virginia; one sister, Marilyn Lalumiere of Falmouth, ME; and five grandchildren, Megan and Brian Lalumiere, Jenn and Jason Barriault and Kayla Humphreys.
Friends may call at the Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home, 199 Woodford Street, Portland on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 4 - 7 pm. A Masonic service will be held at 6:30PM by Casco Masonic Lodge #36. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Woodford's Congregation Church at 10AM. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Falmouth, ME.
