Jason Michael Strauss

Indian Shores, Fla. Jason Michael Strauss, 23, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 29, 2015. Jason was born in Portland ME. on Dec 28, 1991, the son of Darrell and Althea Keegan Strauss. Jason always displayed love, devotion and loyalty for his parents, and younger brother Tyler. Jason was and is Tyler’s rock, and his memory will guide Tyler in the years to come. Jason loved being with his friends, and was a loyal, honest, devoted friend in return. Jason had an infectious smile and a contagious free spirit.

Jason graduated from Portland High School in 2010. He was a huge sports fan, and participated in many sports throughout his childhood and into his adulthood. Jason worked in the restaurant industry in Indian Shores FL, where he was remembered earlier this week as a great friend and co-worker. Jason truly enjoyed being outdoors, soaking up the sun and enjoying the water, on the beach or boating.

In addition to his parents and younger brother, Jason is survived by his grandmother, Kathleen Ann Keegan of Albany NY, Irene Strauss of FL numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandfathers, Edward Keegan and Warner Strauss.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service and visitation on Sunday, September 6,2015 from 10am to 12pm at the Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St, Portland, ME
