Kathryn M. Crowley

Kathryn was born in Boston, MA on March 20, 1924 to the late Timothy J. and Nora G. (Coveney) Crowley. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1941, and after many years of study she earned an associate AB from Harvard College Extension. Kathryn was employed as a benefits administrator by Mitre Co. in Burlington, MA.

Kathryn was a communicant of St. Joseph’s R.C. Church in Portland. She enjoyed hand-made quilting and knitting. She also traveled with family and friends in Europe.

Kathryn is survived by her brother David M. Crowley of Portland, two nieces; Elizabeth Lewis and Kathryn Crowley, and a nephew David M. Crowley Jr.

A period of visitation will be held at the family home, 411 Stevens Ave. Portland, ME from 4 to 8 PM on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. A 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial for Kathryn will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, 673 Stevens Ave. Portland, ME on Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Burial will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Arlington, MA at a later date.

Care for Kathryn and her family has been entrusted to the Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home of Portland, ME.
