Saco, Maine- Laurence A. Dean Jr. age 52 of Saco died Saturday July 5, 2014 at his home after a lengthy illness. Larry was born in Portland, Maine on January 18, 1962 the son of Lawrence A. Dean Sr. and Judith Dean Gowen. Larry worked as a master plumber and had been employed at Dead River Co. for many years. He was a big hearted person who loved life and family.
Larry is survived by his companion Margaret Chase of Saco, his father Lawrence Dean Sr. of South Portland, his mother Judith Gowen of Portland, and his sister Donna Gowen of Norway, Maine.
He was predeceased his sister Colleen and brother Steven Gowen.
There are no visiting hours scheduled. A graveside memorial service will be held Friday July 11, 2014 at 1 P.M. with Rev. Fred Bailey officiating.
