

Falmouth- Mark Billington Waldron, 45, of Hadlock Rd., passed away on January 14, 2014 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born in Portland, a son of William G. and Barbara S. (Stone) Waldron.
Mark was extremely passionate about his Music. He had an extensive career in the Portland Maine area utilizing his performance, songwriting and recording abilities. He also spent some time in San Diego, CA and Austin, TX. He was an accomplished, professional musician mastering the Bass Guitar and playing drums, guitar and vocals. He played in many bands such as : The Kopterz, The Sense, Treehouse, Motor Booty Affair and “Commander Waldron and the Chocolate Mess”.
In 2004 Mark became handicapped and unable to continue his passion of music. Mark always managed to remain positive and retained his outstanding sense of humor. He was fortunate to live at home with many loving caregivers for the remainder of his life. The family would like to acknowledge the exceptional care and compassion Mark received from his caregivers, Vanessa Levesque, Wendy Black, Lisa Vieta, and Megan Pearson.
He was pre-deceased by his father, William Goold Waldron, in 2001.
He is survived by his mother; Barbara S Waldron, brother, William G. Waldron, Jr (Bill) and his wife Stacie and (3) children Chandler, Maxwell and Gabriela; sister, Victoria W. Mulkern (Vickie) and her Husband Scott W Mulkern.
Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation from 4-7 pm on Friday, January 17, 2014, at Jones Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland. Services will be private. If desired, donations in Mark’s memory may be made to Preble Street Resource Center, 38 Preble Street, Portland, ME 04101, or, on behalf of Mark’s love for animals, The Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, 449 Stroudwater St. Westbrook, ME 04092.
