

She was born August 20, 1930 in Portland., ME, the daughter of the late Concetta (Lena) Orlando Minervino of Lettomanopello, Italy and the late Salvatore (Sam) Minervino of Viesta Foggia, Italy.
Maryann spent her childhood in Portland, where she attended North Elementary School, Jack Junior High and Portland High School. She made lasting and cherished memories with her family and friends in what was affectionately known as "Little Italy" in Portland ME around Munjoy Hill. She married Charles Brian Bonetti, the love of her life on March 31, 1950 and had many happy years together with family and friends.
She worked at Porteous Mitchell and Braun and later in life at Hannaford with Chuck, where they found joy interacting with the public. Her most cherished roles were as wife, mother, Grammy and Great Grammy. Many of her fondest memories were the years she spent with Chuck in Disney World. Everyone she met became part of her extended family. Up until this week she continued to share stories of all her fond memories in what she called the most magical place on earth.
Her faith was strong. She was an active member of St. Peter's Parish, the Sacred Heart Sodality and spent many years actively involved in the St. Peter's Italian Bazaar.
Maryann was predeceased by her parents, loving husband, sister Altana Aceto and sister-in-law Patricia Minervino. She is survived by her brothers Henry Minervino and Thomas Minervino and his wife Dolores (Dodi), her brother in law Albert (Al) Aceto, her three daughters, Concetta Bonetti, Lisa Bonetti, Mary Creenan and her husband Patrick, and two sons, John Bonetti and his partner Amara El and Salvatore Bonetti and his wife Barbara along with a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she cherished dearly as well as an abundance of incredible loving friends from her Church and community.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Chappelle who cared for mom's needs the Hospice Team at Constellation Health Services who made her comfortable during her final day. The family invites you to a time of visitation on Tuesday March 11th from 4:00 pm to 7:00pm at Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St, Portland ME. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on March 12th at 10:00am at St. Peters Church, Federal St. Portland ME with a committal service at a later date.
