

Paul DiBiase of Scarborough, Maine, died peacefully at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, on January 27th, 2016 with his loving life partner and best friend, Bonnie Lashin, by his side. Paul was 67. He was born in Portland, Maine, on March 24th, 1948 to Shirley (Lerman) and Daniel DiBiase. He graduated from Cheverus High School in 1966. As a young man, Paul joined his father's sheet metal business, eventually taking ownership of the company. He left that business to launch his own computer repair company.
Paul and Bonnie spent many happy hours over the years enjoying ballroom dancing. He had a passion for photography and a gift for capturing the beauty of light. A tribute to Paul and his photos is being compiled and will be available on www.unseenportland.com, a site to which he frequently contributed. Paul also wrote poetry, stories and songs, and played guitar, chess and billiards. He will also be remembered for his curiosity of all things and his love of learning.
Paul will be missed and remembered always--we love you, Paul!
Paul was predeceased by his parents. Surviving him are his life partner, Bonnie Lashin; his sister, Sandra Morey and her husband Russell Morey; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A memorial service to honor Pauls' life will be held at 12 PM on Monday, February 15, 2016, at Jones, Rich and Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St., Portland. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, 11 Hunnewell Rd., Scarborough, Maine.
