

Portland, ME- Robert E. Snow, 72, of Wall Street, passed away on June 4, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Rehabilitation & Residence in Portland. He was born on February 15, 1952, in Boston, MA, son of Robert and Barbara (Hufnagle) Snow.
Bob grew up in Foxboro, MA, graduating from Foxboro High School. He married his high school sweetheart, Jane Parechanian, on October 3, 1970. They later moved to Maine and began raising a family which included three beautiful daughters. During this time and while working full time, he achieved his BA and graduated from University of Southern Maine.
He was a manager at McDonald’s, Brooks Drug Store and Bonanza Restaurant. He was in sales at Dispenser Services, Waste Management and Lisa’s Pizza. He was a Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker for over ten years and most recently was a driver with RTP.
He was an avid sports enthusiast and especially loved his Boston sports teams. He was known as Mr. Baseball in high school and continued his love of sports playing football, basketball, softball, hockey, racquetball and biking. His favorite activity was hiking Mt. Katahdin and enjoying the view from Baxter Peak.
He and Jane enjoyed traveling, visiting Germany, Washington, Virginia, Colorado, Tennessee and Hawaii.
Bob enjoyed reading, watching movies, history, watching his grandsons play hockey and all of his grandchildren’s many sports, concerts and activities. He also had a passion for politics and loved to cook.
And let’s not forget, Beau, his faithful furry companion, whom he loved to walk on Baxter Boulevard.
He was pre-deceased by his brother, Larry Snow.
He is survived by his wife of over 53 years, Jane (Parechanian) Snow; daughters, Kimberly Snow-White and her husband Michael White of Westbrook, Brenda Freeman of Hollis Center, Diana Snow and her fiancé Ryan Whitlock of Scarborough; siblings, Richard Snow and Donna Snow, both of Franklin, MA, Barbara Mary Baxter and her husband Rob of Foxboro, MA; grandchildren, Sean, Austin, Isaac, Mikayla, Nicholas, Andre, Tristan and Calvin.
Visiting hours will be held from 9-11 am on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland, where a Funeral Service will follow at 11 am. Burial will follow at Brooklawn Memorial Park in Portland.
