

He was born in Madawaska, Maine, on October 23, 1945, son of Donat and Cecile (Paradis) Sirois. After attending High School at Séminaire Des Pères Oblats De Marie Immaculée in Bucksport, ME, he went on to serve in the Army until 1967. He later graduated from Husson College in Bangor, ME, and became a Certified Public Accountant.
On December 26, 1970, he married the love of his life, Fernande (Fern) Frenette, of Bathurst, NB, Canada. They settled in Fryeburg, ME, and Romeo opened an Accounting Practice in Bridgton. He eventually retired from Harmon, Jones and Sirois, CPA. During college Romeo was a star soccer player, receiving several awards. He played on many bowling leagues both in Madawaska and Fryeburg. He also enjoyed playing on a local Bridgton Men’s hockey team as well as an avid Tennis player. He was also a member of The Knights of Columbus.
Romeo was predeceased by his parents, his wife Fern, and two brothers, Lawrence of Candia, NH, and Jean Paul (JP) of Hartford, CT. He is survived by his sister, Anita (Sirois) Clavette, of Fort Kent, ME, and two brothers, Richard Sirois of Manchester, NH, and Leo Sirois of Madawaska, ME. Other survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Sirois of Boone, NC, his son, Eric Sirois, of Bridgton, ME, and grandchildren Emma Reeves Sirois and Remi Sirois.
Romeo was dearly loved and loved his family.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Romeo Gerard Sirois at Jones, Rich and Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford Street, Portland, ME on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11:00AM.
