My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this tone of sorrow

My sincere condolences to Sandy's family and close friends. Sandy had a giggle like no one else I have known. When she was excited her voice had a signature squeak. I continue to hear her. Sandy has left a void at Tyler and is missed in many ways. Sandy and I shared a love of polka dots. I will always remember her as these little things mean alot. 

 Although I haven't known Sandy as long as most, I consider her a close friend.  We met during the acquisition of New World Systems.  At that time, I didn't know if I had much of a future nor a job.  My first impression of Sandy was how energetic and cheerful she was each and every day while in our Troy office for some very long days/weeks.  Once the transition was completed, she became my boss and mentor.  Our friendship developed from that point on.  We talked often mostly about work and family.  She was so very proud of her children.  She beamed with pride talking of the various accomplishments.  She loved that Ryan and Danielle were close and spent time with each other.  She cherished her trips to see Danielle at college especially her NYC trip. 
Several times I had the fortune to travel to Portland, Maine.  Sandy knew the best places for a variety of fresh seafood.  She took me under her wing and showed me the Portland that she knew and loved.  This included a kayak trip and walks along the Maine shoreline.  These memories and many others are forever in my heart and will continue to make me smile.  Thank you, my friend for being there during all of my health issues.  I am so very sorry I could not return the favor.  Rest in Peace watch over us and your dear family!  Love Jen

I enjoyed having Sandy in several of my classes at Husson.  She always had a smile on her face with a little mischief mixed in.  She worked hard with rigorous goals, all of which she accomplished.   I had the pleasure of talking with her fairly recently when she got a promotion and she was very happy with both her family and professional lives.  A life cut much too short.  My prayers are with all of you.  (Front row left in the picture attached)

Heartfelt condolences to the Holt Family, Friends & Colleagues ~
I worked with Sandy since she was hired at Tyler in the Accounting department.  She had a sign in her office that said, ‘a cluttered desk is a sign of genius’.  There was order to her chaos.  Her attention to detail, and energetic approach to all tasks she took on was inspirational.  She went out of her way to ask staff how they were doing personally and complement them in some small way. We shared in her home renovations and the adventures and launch into adulthood of her children she was intensely proud of.   I will miss her random calls and texts when she was having a thought to share.  Her presence will be missed by all that were in her hemisphere.

Sandra and I (Roland) with our grandparents back in the day.  She sent this to me recently saying it was one of her favorites.

I worked with  Sandy at Tyler and she was full of energy/life.  The last few years we worked in the same building and I would run into her sometimes - she was always racing somewhere, but always had a smile on her face and made time to ask how I was.

I am so sorry for your loss and I will miss her.

Sandy and I have known each other since Cole-Haan days; I too, "came with the building". You would breeze in, full of energy, a quick conversation, usually about your wonderful family, positive, smiling. I look at Sandy as a role model, smart, decisive, focused, a leader who could have fun and work hard at whatever was required of her. She was one of the first people I encountered as we have returned to work,  making things seem a little more normal, smiling through her mask! Sandy, may God bless your family and keep them in your love as you watch over and guide them in the time to come. We mourn the loss of a great woman, mother, spouse, coworker and so much more; you touched the lives of so many of us in ways you probably never knew.

Words alone could never capture the depth of losing someone as special as Sandy.  She was a friend, a confidante, and my fellow Sister.  Simply put-a beautiful person that we were so very fortunate to have entered our lives.   Rick, Ryan, and Danielle – Her love for each of you was boundless.  You were her entire world.  We always likened Sandy to a mother lioness and her cubs-fiercely protecting her family and filled with endless pride.  Our hearts ache and are heavy with sorrow to not hear the sound of your Mother’s sweet voice, to see her smile, to hear her words of kindness and wisdom but the memories we carry within our hearts can never be erased. The journey ahead will be arduous but know that you are surrounded by loved ones.  We will always be here for each of you. We are so heartbroken at the loss of someone so dear.  They say that our legacy lives on through our families, and there couldn't be a more loving and caring one than Rick, Ryan and Danielle. Sandi will always be in our hearts and minds.  We love you all and are always here for you.

To the Holt Family – Going through the loss of a beloved one is never easy, and no one can ever prepare themselves for a loss. Knowing Sandy through Tyler has been a true honor for me. She was a very kind person! How did I know when Sandy was in the Plano office? I would hear her voice first, unique and warming. During my only trip to Maine, I remember how much she spoke of her family and we shared talks of our dogs.  May you all find peace in knowing how special Sandy was to us all! 

Rick, I was so saddened to see this news.  It's been a long time since the little league days when we met you and Sandy, but every time I saw her she greeted me with a big smile and kind words. I was lucky to have Sandy as my co-worker for 4 years . You all were a constant source of pride for her.  She would always share stories.  I wanted to send my condolences to your Family after this unspeakable tragedy. 

Honey, when I learned that we couldn’t win this one, I broke down in tears. Never could I have imagined such heartbreak, such an overwhelming feeling of grief. Though our time together was cut tragically short, we lived a lifetime in the years we’ve had together after first meeting in college, living away for a decade, and then returning home to raise a family amongst our families. As you are and will always be, I’m so proud of Ryan and Danielle. I know by the way your eyes lit up, that in those final days and hours you could hear and feel them by your side. Honey they were so strong and beautiful and wonderful with you as we sat by your side. I was so proud and know where it is that their strength comes from. Know always that we love you and will forever carry your strength with us. 

My deepest condolences to Sandy’s family – you were everything to her and she will always be with you in the wonderful memories you have.  May you find comfort in knowing her huge smile, amazing energy and love of life impacted everyone she touched.  I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to not just have her as a mentor and coworker but to have her as a dear friend!  She was an absolute joy I will miss every day.

Every time our paths crossed whether it was out for a stroll in the neighborhood, at a Greely Girls Hockey game, at other school events, or in the center area of our small town, Sandra always had a mile-wide beaming smile and happy glow about her.
