Shirley A. Jordan

Shirley Jordan, 75 of Portland passed away on December 11, 2013 at Maine Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born in Madison, Maine on January 7, 1938 and graduated from Windham High School in 1956. After High School Shirley joined First Portland National Bank, later known as Canal Bank.

Shirley was a talented seamstress, making many bridal gowns and bridal attire along with children’s clothes and many costumes for her grandchildren.

She and her husband Bruce enjoyed traveling with many of their friends, including taking a cruise, trips to the Caribbean and Las Vegas. Shirley also enjoyed bowling and bingo.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Bruce of Portland; daughter, Sherry, and her husband Mark of Windham along with their sons Shawn and Adam; son, Michael and his wife Elaine of Windham and their children Logan and Lexie; daughters, Kathie & Pam and son Kevin of Portland.

Visiting hours will be held from 4-7 pm on Monday, December 16, 2013 at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland, where a funeral will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, December 17th.

Interment at Moss Side will be in the Spring.
