Teka was a cherished wife, an adored mother, a beloved sister and aunt, and a treasured friend. She was a selfless person who gave the most, and the best of herself to her family and friends.
She led an adventurous life, traveling from Florida to Alaska and finally settling in Maine.
A remarkably creative and gifted artist, Teka expressed herself through quilting, embroidery, paper crafting, etc. She also had a love for gardening, appreciating the beauty of her flowers and plants and enthusiastic about growing her own food.
Also an avid reader, primarily of fictional Agatha Christie murder-mystery, and Nora Roberts romance novels. Teka was also a huge fan of science fiction movies, notably anything Star Trek.
She had the most wonderful laugh. One that we will never forget, and undoubtedly, will always hear the echoes of her laughter in our memories.
Although Teka had a very successful career at Unum, 30+ years, her greatest sense of pride and accomplishment came from her roles as wife, mother, sibling, aunt and friend. This, was her life’s true calling.
Teka is survived by her husband Joe, son’s Jacob and Lucas, her brother Rick and sister Kris, daughter-in-law Maggie, sister-in-law Myrna.
