Anna was born in Champion, Alberta Canada. She resided there until 1937 when she moved to Brush Prarie, WA with her parents Jesse Dean and Susan Mae Goodnight. She married Donald Lewis Haney in 1941 and moved to Parkrose, Oregon. In 1956, they moved to Tigard and she resided there for 57 years.
Anna cared for 9 foster children from 1947 to 1968. She had one daughter, Barbara and two adopted children, Henry and Tonya. Anna enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing cards, crocheting, sewing and shopping.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, after 54 years of marriage. She is survived by 3 children, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Anna’s funeral will be September 28, 2013 at 2:00pm at Skyline Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 4101 NW Skyline Blvd., Portland, OR 97229.
