

Artemio Rangel Hernandez, 71, of Portland, Oregon, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 21, 1953, in Zinapécuaro, Mexico, to Alfredo Rangel Piña and Antonia Hernandez.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Artemio was a man of unwavering strength, quiet wisdom, and deep integrity. He was a man of integrity, and his actions spoke volumes. His hard work, dedication, and commitment to his family were at the core of everything he did. He instilled strong values in those around him, teaching by example and offering steady guidance to those he loved.
Artemio had an unshakable work ethic, always providing for his family and ensuring they were well cared for. His kindness and generosity extended beyond his household—he was a loyal friend, a mentor, and a source of comfort to many. Whether offering a helping hand or sharing a quiet moment of support, Artemio’s presence was a source of strength and reassurance.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and devotion that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
Services in Honor of Artemio
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4101 NW Skyline Blvd., Portland, OR 97229.
A graveside service will follow from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 333 SW Skyline Blvd., Portland, OR 97221.
