I came to know Brian while he was at the same memory care as my sister.  He was such a bright light there.  He loved to laugh and was always so considerate and helpful, especially when they needed things moved.  I used to tell him he should ask to be added to the payroll. When he smiled his eyes twinkled.  He was kind to everyone but especially loved women, quite often saying “God bless all the women “.  Rest in peace dear Brian.  You will be missed by so many.

To my beloved Bentley Family cousins; Chery and I sending our deepest condolences.  Brian was such a great soul of a man and a great cousin to have.  Always, always cheerful and ready for fun and laughter!  Growing up and coming to Uncle Ron and Aunt Barbara's home in Dearborn Hts. was so cool and to hang out with our cousins.  Back then it seemed so far away but it was only approx. 20mi.  Uncle Ron was a great man and Uncle and Aunt Barbara was a great, sweet, caring mother and Aunt.  Great memories too when we would go to Nana & Butt's home for a Christmas eve gathering of everybody with all that loud laughter and enjoyment.  It's been maybe 8yrs+ when Uncle Ron and Brian popped in at  our home in New Boston.  What a great delight that was while having lunch and talking about the old days....It was fantastic seeing both! Brian will be surely missed by all.  May Peace be with Brian now that he is with Uncle Ron and Aunt Barbara, Tom and Connie.  May Peace be with the Linda and children and grandchildren. My favorite memory of Brian is visiting his house in the winter. He would always fill the windshield wiper solvent for me. It was not a very pleasant job to do in the cold, ice and snow. He noticed the little things that make a big difference and take care of them without any fanfare. He wanted to make sure myself and children were safe driving the car. He is a kind, thoughtful man.  The world will be a sadder place without him. I will miss him but I am happy he was surrounded by his family and he is at peace.

Dear cousins. I am so sorry for the loss of your brother. He was always a dear man with a warm heart. He is gone much too soon. Know that although we Bentleys don't see each other often anymore. You are always in my memories. Love Vivian

I'll never forget moving to Michigan at 15 and Uncle Brian welcoming us and helping my mom while my dad was sent to Korea. My favorite memory was going to a haunted house and hay ride. Love you and R.I.P

I am so saddened to learn of your father’s passing Brian & Sarah. I miss my Uncle Brian so much, words cannot describe. I will never forget the fun times and conversations we had over several years. He was beloved and will be missed and I will keep him; you both; your kids and family in my thoughts and prayers. May he rest in peace in Heaven with our God, as well as the rest of our families.

To the outside world we all grow old.  But not to brothers and sisters.  We know each other as we always were.  Side by side or miles apart, siblings will always be connected by the heart.   You will be missed beyond words ....  love you Brian.

I like this picture because it just reminds me that no matter what, he always had a smile on his face. I can probably count on one hand the number of times I'd ever seen him not smiling... They were very rare.

Whenever I think of Uncle Brian, even though this picture was probably taken long before I was born, this is what always comes to mind. Because it really just summed him up pretty well - he was funny and silly but he was always full of love.

Uncle Brian will be missed dearly.  He was always so gentle and kind.  I won't forget his smile. He was very caring and would give you the shirt off of his back. He was loved. My thoughts and prayers are with Sarah, Brian Jr and family.  I'm sorry I couldn't be there.

What a kind and gentle spirit Brian had.  I love that even in his last few months, he could recognize me and shouted my name with delight!  I treasure our time doing puzzles and singing along to John Denver as loud as possible.  During covid when the barber shops were closed, I brought my clippers, cape and folding chair and cut his hair in his apartment parking lot.  Brian was so grateful and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.  Other residents were looking a little shaggy, but not Brian!

As Godfather to my son Alex, Brian holds a very special place in my heart.
