In his twenties, Brian drove a truck for the Grateful Dead, a role that perfectly suited his love for music and adventure and who became one of his favorite bands. Brian was a true DeadHead wearing colorful tye-dyed t-shirts, collecting albums and attending many concerts.
Brian was known for his regular visits to the local pub, where he enjoyed the company of his friend Jay, the bartender. He was an avid sports fan, passionately supporting the Warriors Basketball Team and never missing a game at Candlestick Park to watch the Giants.
Later, he settled in Oregon. He was deeply cared for and loved and will be missed by his close friends and neighbors, Tim & Mirta Strickland and Kimberly Shute. Brian was preceded in death by his girlfriend and neighbor, Judy, who was also a significant part of his life in Oregon. Brian will be remembered for his Irish nature and his love for Bella, his tuxedo cat. He leaves behind a legacy of stamina, determination and a tender heart. His presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him
