Dr. Bruce L. Williams

Passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on April 23, 2015.

In 1959 Bruce married the love of his life Joan Read, they were married 56 yearsand had three children, Diane Williams, Ron Williams, and Dr. Brenda Ivans (Gary); and two grandchildren, Ryan and Anneke. Bruce is also survived by his brother, Craig “Windy” Williams.

We are comforted to know Bruce is reunited with his son, Ron; parents, Buster and Jane Williams; sister, Kay Parkins; and son-in-law, Dan Allen.

Bruce’s family have many cherished memories of growing up which include camping, fishing, beach trips, travel and vacations, as well as many birthdays and holidays shared together enjoyed by many lifetime friends.

An avid runner, sports enthusiast, lover of nature, Bruce was never without a good book in hand; he loved a lively conversation.

After high school Bruce joined the U.S. Army and served in the Korean War. He logged in Southern Oregon and Northern California, and graduated from OHSU in 1974 with a degree in Dentistry, enjoying 32 years in Tanasbourne.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Bruce’s life in the way he had chosen from 5-10pm Friday, May 15, 2015 at Cornelius Pass Roadhouse Imbrie Meadows.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, Audobon Society, and Gentiva Hospice.
