Carolyn Robertson

It is with great sorrow that we inform all our friends and family that our beloved Carolyn Lucille Hildenbrand Robertson passed away in her sleep on March 8, 2013 after a two year battle with cancer. Carolyn was surrounded by dear friends and family when she left us.

Carolyn was born in Portland, Oregon and resided in the family home for 67 years. Carolyn was the third child and only daughter of William and Edna Hildenbrand. She was a graduate of Franklin High School in 1963, as was her mother, her brothers Lewis and Rodney, and her daughter Michelle.

In 1967 Carolyn married John Robertson. After the birth of her daughter Michelle, Carolyn worked in several positions as a customer service representative for companies including Quest Diagnostics, Sun Life Insurance, AT&T and CIT Services.

Carolyn was always enthusiastic to participate with friends and family for gatherings, game nights, watching Trailblazer games, camping, whitewater rafting, ceramics and traveling. She had a passion for preserving her family’s heritage by scrapbooking old photos and documents for our future generations to enjoy.

One of the highlights of Carolyn’s later years was taking a cruise with her good friend Derma to the Alaska Inland Passages. Carolyn was an extraordinarily loyal friend and companion.

We want to thank everyone for all your love and support and invite you to join us in a celebration of Carolyn’s journey. Carolyn’s Funeral is scheduled for 2PM on Wednesday March 20th at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, 11801 SE Mt. Scott Blvd., Portland, Oregon, 97266. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral from 10am to 1pm.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Michelle Seaton as well as her brothers William Hildenbrand Jr. and Rodney Hildenbrand.
