Carolyn Rose Tubbs

Carolyn was born December 31, 1937 in Portland, Oregon to Otto and Alice (Wogsberg) Peterson. On July 11, 1959 she married Calvin D. Tubbs and the couple had two children, Curtis W. Tubbs and Timothy D. Tubbs When her boys were young, the family loved picnicking and camping trips. She enjoyed craftwork, quilting and sewing (especially spending time sewing with her sister Paula), working in her yard during the summertime, and spoiling all of her family with her cooking. Once her family expanded, Carolyn was a big part of their lives, and loved to help take care of her grandchildren and watch them grow up to become parents themselves. She was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Portland.

Mrs. Tubbs was preceded in death by her husband Calvin in 2017, and by her sisters Barbara and Paula.

She is survived by her children Curtis Tubbs and Timothy Tubbs; brother Del; grandchildren Steven and Danielle, and great-grandchildren Joe, Jasper, Cohen, Miro, and Jocelyn.

Carolyn will be laid to rest privately next to Calvin at Willamette National Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 11 at 11:30 am at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, with a reception following.
