Carter John Cermak was born on a cold and icy Tuesday morning, January 29th 2002. He was born surrounded by his family, and that is how he spent all the days of his life. Surrounded by the love of his family and his ever growing number of friends.
To know Carter was to know love, acceptance, laughter, kindness, stubbornness, determination, independence; to enjoy a good burger, movie, and dance party; but above all he was love and light and everything good in this world.
He had a true passion for film, especially the dark and creepy, scary and a bit weird. He truly loved Tim Burton and every film he made. He loved music and dancing and singing at the top of his lungs! In the car, the shower and at school choir concerts.
Above all Carter loved his people. If you knew Carter, you knew all of his people, Papa, Mimi, aunties, uncles, cousins, his Dang, his baby brothers, and his Mama.
Carter changed the life of every person he came in contact with. He made the world a better place. There will never be a more precious soul to grace this planet.
He lost his Papa four years ago, and Carter has missed him dearly. We take comfort in knowing they are together, hugging and laughing, telling wind-jammers, and finally together again.
I love you more than my luggage, Big C
