Cheryl was born in Portland to Frank and Evelyn (Sack) Carling. She worked as a hairstylist for several decades, as well as a pharmacy technician for a local supermarket. She recently earned a BA in Business Administration at Warner Pacific’s adult degree program, graduating top of class. She was an animal lover, and always had animal companions at her homes.
She is survived by her father Frank Carling of Scappoose, OR;
sisters Lynda Mackey of Tacoma, WA and Gayle Hamann of Gresham, OR;
sons Destry Williams of Milwaukie, OR, Tory Williams of Portland, OR, Paul Madison of Portland, OR, and Evan Hofbauer of Gresham, OR.
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Lincoln Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 11801 SE Mt. Scott Blvd in Portland, followed by a committal service at Lincoln at 1:00 PM.
