Constantin was born in Romania to Maria Munteanu and Ion Dragulin and was raised in Bucharest. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1976.
He proudly served his country as a Lieutenant and pilot in the Romanian military.
In 1985, Constantin met the love of his life, Daysi, in Long Beach, California, where he was the bus driver on her regular route. The two were married in 1988 and built a life together rooted in love, partnership, and dedication. Together, they ran an adult care home for 37 years, serving others with compassion and commitment.
Constantin was a man of faith and was affiliated with the Pentecostal church.
He enjoyed gardening, driving, shopping, construction projects, and watching television. He was known for his lively personality—chatty, a natural storyteller, generous, tough, fearless, and friendly. He was also a good cook and a wonderful conversationalist who brought energy and warmth to every interaction.
Above all, Constantin was a loyal father and a generous man who will be remembered for his strength, kindness, and the way he connected with others.
Constantin is survived by his beloved wife, Daysi; his children, Claudia (Dave), Mariana, Iosif, Vincent, Maria, and Anca; and his grandchildren, Adrian, Gabriel, Michelle, and Ana.
