Curtis William Borchardt died on April 26, 2001. He was born on July 23, 1934 in Fremont, Wisconsin. He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1979 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. In his career with the U.S. Air Force, he received the Distinguished Flying Cross. His career spanned through the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a member of the Living Savior Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Buehner) they were married in 1961 He is also survived by two daughters; Kimberly Borchardt of Lake Oswego, OR and Kristina Borchardt of San Francisco, CA one son; Scott Borchardt of Pleasanton, CA brother; Carleton Borchardt of Menasha, WI and sister Karen Borchardt of Neenah, WI.
Services will be Tuesday May 1, 2001. Interment at Willamette National Cemetery
