

He was born in Burbank, CA to Bill and Grayce Barren. His family moved to Eugene, OR in 1979. After graduation from Churchill High School in 1988, he attended and played football at Shasta College, Redding, CA. He moved to Portland, OR in 1993 and worked in the field of Telecommunications for 30 years starting as a Lineman, followed by Foreman, Fiber Inspector, Engineer/Manager, Fiber Field
Technician, Design Specialist and Surveyor. Hank is survived by his Mother, Grayce Barren. His Father, Bill Barren, preceded him in death in 2013. His Brother, Howard Barren of Westminster, CA; Daughters; Amber Tsosie (Travis) and their son Amari of Portland, OR; Heather Barren (Lina) of Portland, OR. Former wife, Jennifer Barren, Mother of Amber and Heather; Girlfriend, Jennifer Clark and her Daughter,
Cheryl Tuttle (Matt) of Roseburg, OR and numerous Uncles, Aunts and Cousins. Hank enjoyed camping, family and friend gatherings and his home and garden. He was an avid fan of college football; especially the Oregon Ducks. A Memorial Service will be held at Finley-Sunset Hills Chapel, 6801 SW Sunset Hwy,
Portland, OR on Monday, Aug. 28th, 2023 at Noon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Washington County Sheriff’s K-9 Unit at the following website: WCSOfoundation.org and click on Donate Today.
A funeral service for Hank will be held Monday, August 28, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Finley Sunset Hills Mortuary, 6801 SW SUNSET HWY, PORTLAND, OR 97225.
