She died Sept. 9, 2010, at the Good Shepherd Medical Center in Hermiston at age 59. She was raised and attended schools in Portland, graduating from John Marshall High School in 1968.
Denyce was united in marriage to Kerry Arthur Hart Feb. 28, 1971, in Portland. They had lived in Idaho, California, Oregon, Georgia, and Washington, settling in Olympia. Denyce was a member of the Living Water Foursquare Church, Olympia. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and crafts.
She is survived by her husband, Kerry Arthur Hart of Olympia; daughter, Freya Kristin Hart of Moses Lake, Wash.; brother, Gordon Hart of Woodland, Wash.; sisters, Tamara Faris of Gresham and Pamela Wood of Vancouver; and numerous nieces and nephews. Denyce was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie E. and Jean Hart.
A memorial service will be held at 10AM, Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, in Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, Portland.
