Don was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Velda Belle Cox and his three siblings, Ethel, George, and Albert. He is survived by his nephew and best friend Dave Cox, his sister-in-law Norma Thurman, his step-children Ron Stewart (Donna), Sue Stanton (Don), EJ Stewart and Allen Stewart (Cindy) and 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, and Pattie Parker.
Don will be remembered for enjoying everything life had to offer.
A reception will be held in his honor at Skyline Memorial Gardens, 4101 NW Skyline Blvd, 97229, on Friday February 28, 2014 from 11am-12pm. In lieu of fresh flowers the family suggests live plants.
