Donna M Waller passed away Wednesday, Oct 18, 2017. Mom aka “Donna” displayed incredible courage and grace through her battle with cancer. She was an inspiration to all of us with her Catholic faith, sense of humor, red pen and green-thumb.
Donna was born May 22, 1950 in Portland, Oregon. Her working career was in the non-profit sector in a variety of organizations: YWCA, Volunteers of America of Oregon, Christ the King Catholic Parish, Easter Seals of Oregon and lastly at CYO (Catholic Youth Organization). During her time at each organization she left a legacy of being incredible colleague, faith and her famous red pen treatment. We only thought us kids got the red pen treatment, it was nice to know we are all members of that special club. Red Pen Treatment was her editing your school paper, work documents, church bulletins and any other piece of paper given to her to review & edit.
Outside of the office, you would find Donna helping out at Resurrection Catholic Parish, spending time with her husband Bill, family and grandchildren. She enjoyed doing Sudoku, word jumbles, crosswords, and puzzles in her spare time.
Donna is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Bill; her brother Dick Coffman, her daughter, Angela Campbell and husband Michael Campbell; her daughter Lisa White: 4 grandchildren Alexie White, Isaac Campbell, Coen Campbell and Little Bean who we will welcome into the world in March 2018. She was preceded in death by her previous husband Kevin White, Mother Margret “Peggy” Littlefield and Father Kenneth Coffman.
