Dorothy Mae McCullough was born April 12, 1925, in Clarks, Neb. She graduated from St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in Nebraska and moved in the mid-1940s to Portland, where she was a registered nurse for Emanuel Hospital and later a bookkeeper for Bell and Kurp Autobody, her husband's business, for 20 years. She moved to Milwaukie in 1959 and to West Linn in 2006. In 1947, she married George Bell; he died in 1996.
Survivors include her daughter, Diane DiLoreto; son, Jim Bell; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
