Edith Jo Bartley

Bartley, Edith "Jo", 70, of Fairview, Oregon, passed away peacefully March 11, 2016. Jo was born in Coulee Dam, Washington on April 19, 1945 to Juanita (Wheeler) and Henry Butler. She was one of five children when she grew up in Clarkston, Washington. She was married to William (Bill) Bonner August 31, 1962 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. They had three children together.

The family moved to Oceanside, Oregon in 1970. She moved to Portland, Oregon in 1972 with her children after her separation, where she lived the rest of her life.

Jo started working for JC Penny's in 1971 as a dedicated employee for 28 years. Her pride and joy was her family, and there was nothing she wouldn't do for them. She was always there to help friends and family, and loved by many.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents, brother Donald Butler, and sister Sue Shaw. She is survived by sisters Judy Butler and Nita Jacura, daughter Carrie (Randy) Bonner, sons Brian (Cheryl) Bonner and Shawn (Dana) Bonner, grandchildren Tjana (Luis) Pon and Alexandria Bonner.
