Lola Eileen Anderson Webber 89, passed away peacefully in her SW Portland apartment on September 20, 2014 from complications of a fall. Eileen was born September 30, 1924 in Garden City, Kansas to Ole and Nannie Anderson.
After graduation from high school, she ventured to Portland to be with her high school sweetheart, Wesley. They were married in 1945. Wes died in 1996. Eileen was an avid outdoor enthusiast and photographer who along with her husband made many trips to their beloved British Columbia. They built their own home near Laurel, Oregon in the early ‘50s and their house and acreage was a true showplace. A public grave side service will be held on Friday at 3:00PM, September 26th at Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4101 NW Skyline Blvd. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Oregon Humane Society in her name.
