Frances P. Holy was born in Sandy, Oregon on January 5, 1930. She attended Lusted School & Gresham High School. She attended Multnomah School of the Bible when it was located near the present Lloyd Center. She worked at the Naval Reserve in 1949 as a secretary. She married Walter Holy in 1950 and they made their home in West Linn.
Frances had two daughters, Dianna was born in 1951, Linda was born in 1953 and they were a joy to their parents. Walter joined the USAF in 1956 and they all accompanied him on assignments in the U.S. and overseas until 1984 when he retired. In 1985 they moved to Vancouver, WA. Frances was an avid collector of many things and enjoyed homemaking, traveling and gardening. Walter passed away in July of 2018 and in August of 2020 Frances moved to Cogir of Glenwood Place Assisted Living. She happily resided there until passing away the early morning of December 31st, 2025 at the age of 95.
Her favorite songs were “This is My Father’s World” and “Amazing Grace.” Her favorite Scripture was Job 19:25, 26
