Frank John Schlick, of Portland, Oregon, died on April 12, 2008. He was 76. Funeral Services are being held Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes, 1515 NE 106th Avenue, Portland, OR 97220. 503-256-0606.
Frank was born January 13, 1932 in Portland, Oregon to Frank and Signa Schlick. Frank lived in Portland all his life and graduated from Jefferson High School in about 1950. He met and later married his wife Arlys on May 17, 1958. Frank also served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. After his Honorable Discharge from the Army in 1953, he worked as an Office Clerk for Southern Pacific Railroad and then for Consolidated Freightways for over 30 years.
Survivors include his wife, Arlys; two sons David and Steven Schlick; a sister Armella Gellatly; and two grandchildren.
Family suggests Memorial Contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
